The College Placement Exam is a diagnostic tool that
measures the student’s overall academic aptitude and readiness in
English and computer literacy for pursuing higher education. While there
is no passing grade, the exam appraises the student’s proficiency
in English and helps situate them in their respective ranks in the Preparatory
Program.
Students may be exempted from the Intensive English
Program while enrolled in the Preparatory Program if they have earned
a qualifying score on the TOEFL exam.
