The Scientific College of Design endeavors to achieve its scientific, educational and artistic mission via the strategic framework outlined by the ministry of higher education, which places significant emphasis on empowering the youth with the right knowledge and tools for building a successful future and enabling them to communicate both intellectually and creatively, with the best human ingenuity possible. We recognize through our mission that uniqueness and distinction emanate from combining human internal feelings with science, art, aesthetics, and technology. These factors amalgamate to from a blend of art and design that capture beauty, function, benefit, and usage which immensely contribute to peoples' daily life and in satisfying their needs.

The essence of our mission focuses on the freedom of expression, critical thinking, distinction and the ability to probe into the future for creating novel ideas that can be achieved by instilling these concepts into the mind of the students and promoting their confidence in their potential as well as developing their capabilities and enriching their creativity. Our philosophy translates theory into practice as a necessary requirement to make our lives more practical and in facing future challenges, building new concepts and creating marketable, convincing, distinguished and influential results.

In light of the above, the Scientific College of Design and its deanship realized that creating a synthesized balance between the pillars of the process of education (the student-the instructor- the program- the materials) is of paramount importance to the success of this process.  Therefore, they provided the college with robust solutions like mental and emotional development programs, hired intellectual, creative and distinguished instructors that keep up with the latest developments in the field of art and design. Other projects involved developing intuitive academic programs, equipping classrooms, laboratories and libraries with modern and advanced technologies and establishing a network with a highly sophisticated digital system that speeds up communications and leverages personnel time & effort.

Compared to other prestigious colleges, the Scientific College of Design has made great achievements over the past five years. That is nothing but a small part of its ambitious plans to expand in the field of design, higher education programs, continuing education, scientific research, community services, multicultural education and bridging all aspects of intellectualism, brilliance and creativity to improve the quality and standards of education worldwide.
