STUDENT COUNCIL

The student council is meant to empower the student as an active and effective participant in his/her own academic pursuit and as a committed partner in the educational endeavor.

Elected annually through a democratic vote that involves all the students from different promotions, the council aspires to:

• Educate the student about his/her rights and responsibilties in attending a college and to sound them of their academic challenges
• Create a generation of students that are actively involved in shaping the course of their lives.
• Take part in national, religious, and social events as away to incite a harmonious interaction between the various strata of the Omani society.
• Activate the students’ presence and participation in various extra curricular activities that enhance their academic learning and enrich their social experiences.
